They have ample transportation, colleges, and jobs. 

Chicago is also a really fun city and public transportation in these different neighborhoods helps accessibility. 

Because of the amazing public transportation, people will not feel like they are compromising.

Hey Jagrut, Bayonne does have some nice areas and is good for commuting to NYC or even any public transportation.

For example, our transportation and logistics sector has exploded over the past 5 years or so and that has really brought a lot of jobs and growth to the area as well. 

In my area, public transportation is very under developed so vehicles are a necessity.

And in the medium term, the Tesla I am driving is so much more of a car than those BMW and Mercedes, and when they come out with Model 3 in two years for $35,000, and cost of ownership becomes identical to that of a nicely equipped Honda Accord, there will me a mass shift to electric transport at the household level. 

@Merin Porter  My business partner and I have a mobile home transport company and can move the mobile home for $9k.

 :)I looked at Modular and the quality was all over some not so good and some seemed great... prices were +- $120 ish/sq.ft  built, transported, craned to position and fastened and siding and drywall finished (seams) on site  mostly state inspectors viewing the construction so the cities don't seem to have big issues.....  

(i.e. 7k for a decent used MH, few grand for renovations, 3-5k to transport and set the mobile home).
