Whether to buy or not

Hello BiggerPockets members,

I liked a really nice condo on Bayonne waterfront with a good price, same apartment in jersey city would be atleast 600k. i am almost ready to put up an offer for it. But my question is regarding child care and pre k in the area. I am not buying as an investment but to stay, at the same time don't want to lose money too. We were trying to buy something in Jersey City but prices are unbelievable there.  I have no idea about that area so is there anyone here who can guide me with the area, i would really appreciate it. Thanks.

PS: Big thanks to BiggerPockets, i have learned so much here. Made Real Estate exciting for me.
