I advertised this auction. and even though I owned all the houses.. in MS you MUST be a broker to legally run an auction.. and I had no less than three auctioneers call me on it and threaten to turn me in if I did not use them.

She said the other person was threatening to hurt her.I have since interviewed the other three tenants and they have given me a different story saying it was a verbal disagreement and no physical violence of any sort, and they don't want to live with a stranger.Now the tenant who wants to leave hires an attorney and is requesting me to release her by allowing a sublease, claiming I should do it to avoid potential physical harm to her client.Am I obligated toaccommodate the request?

Other than this, the tenants have been good about paying ontime and reporting anything that needed attention, which has only been 2 things that were easy to address and not life threatening.

I suspect you must have done a lot of expensive damage if you haven't even received the accounting for your deposit and you are already whining about the deductions and threatening to sue.

@Troy Nonnemacher - I was super surprised too when we got those calls and /or postcards returned in envelopes saying to take them off.My fav so far has been a crazy, older lady who called a dozen or so times a day (until I blocked her) threatening to call the police and her lawyer because I was the one harassing her. :-)Best quote: “I ain’t sellin nothin to nobody!!”

If the note is not assumable do not push Wells or threaten to sue they will call the loan ~ make payments exactly on time and continue with insurance as is an MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ZERO Health and Safety code violations in the property.
