It is a lot of responsibility and a lot of added stress to your life...if you are willing to sacrifice "going out" and if you are willing to stay in on weekends and dedicate your spare time to this house then no it is not crazy.I am 24 and I am doing this exact thing right living in my own 4-unit complex while working full-time.It is not easy but I am willing to put in the time and make the necessary sacrifices.Good luck and PM me if you have any questions!

At that point of time I did not have a full picture of replacement cost (I was assuming it will not be an issue finding spares).I will get a new fridge (this time - low end), but I still struggle to find an answer - how much can I charge my tenants for that?

I only ask bc in my personal opinion I think you should focus on college if that is your plan and make the best of that while your there and at the same time keep learning about RE investing in your spare time.
