Doesn't seem like there's much trust in our society anymore, but I also suppose it depends on the market you're in...not sure I'd want to do that in my Chicagoland market, but maybe I'm just too shy of a person, or too aware of other, much less in-yo-face methods.

With regards to postcards, yes it is easier to read immediately, requiring no opening of an envelope, however we as a society are so conditioned to see what we think is junk mail (postcard with printed standard fonts) and just trash it.
