You want to hold commodities (houses, gold, silver, land, wheat, canned spam, etc) when inflation is rampant.

The hotel landscape is changing as all the major brands are developing new and fresh concepts to capture market share.Boutique hotels can be good in certain markets and locations but are a very different business model.Value add plays and rebranding can be tricky and require a ton of capital so you will need significant experience in the space before you tackle one of those.
