The term "Mortgage Broker" is a bit loaded, a bit misleading, and frankly no one uses it correctly.I am licensed to broker mortgages, and I do in fact broker mortgages from time to time.But about 95% of my deals are either done via direct or correspondent lending, not brokering.

As I wrote in my profile, I am currently a casting director working out of my home office and collaborating with a LA-based show developer.

Currently, I do all the administration and bookkeeping for our property maintenance business, and I serve as chair and fiduciary to a local non-profit.

I am the Director of Communications at the board and I recently finished my RE license classes, set to take the state/national exam May 30 (wish me luck!)

What an exciting learning adventure---my heart was racing, I was on the edge of my chair . . . wanted to see what the next episode would bring!

As for Zillow, I am sales director of a real estate firm owned by the largest construction lender in the southeast, therefore we deal with most of the preconstruction financing and dealing with a good source of investors.
