Like Rich, I began my working life near the bottom, my first job was as a fry cook at a burger shop, then a diswasher and other odd jobs until I joined the Army to pay for medical expenses for my second child.

I had the floor replaced and the guy put down a plastic barrier and used some "heavy duty" spray from Home Depot.

A small fry, the local authority isn't likely to want to spend their time until/unless you own it.

Same for the faucet, don't use a cheap model with a plastic body...get a mid range moen or pfister single handle NO Sprayer.

I tried a brand that was plastic.
