Can they withstand a month or 2 of vacancies?

Now I am wondering about the exhaust above the stove though. and The floor is concrete. 

They mainly look for doors and windows that function and lock properly, appliances that work, that bath exhaust fans work (if no window) that you have functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and secure railings if more than 3 stairs.There is more paperwork.  

How exhausting.  

Install a low-decibel exhaust system either in the common area or in his particular apartment, or encourage the other residents to move on if he's just signed a long-term lease.

The exhaust vent only has value when it is actually turned on.  

It is a requirement for the lease, so you should not tiptoe around the stories.But, the bigger issue I see, is that this girl is starting her first year of law school - which is more demanding and intense and exhausting than anything else I can think of.  

Since my law students were going to a very expensive private university, with most of them being supported by their wealthy parents - and them being exhausted and overworked - I didn't think anything less than $100 would motivate them.  

I would not expect this approach to withstand a legal challenge in a tenant-friendly city like LA.
