I don't fault Brian for seeking a way to supplement his business.

I do not pursue RE investing for financial freedom as I love my job and what I do, but I am interested in supplementing my income and net worth with active RE investing.

I have very little Real Estate investing knowledge but interested in learning about wholesaling, lease options, buy & hold to supplement my income.  

Learn as much as you can yourself and supplement with coaching courses and mentorships I was just a little turned off by you asking in the first post how much he would pay you to learn that.

I would like to begin investing in buy and hold rentals with the hope that as my kids get older and we have more of them I will be able to supplement my income to provide for them and help them get started with their future when the time comes. 

My current goal is to look for properties for cash flow to help supplement retirement income in the near future (possibly 4-8 years from now.I could extend that time frame). 

Are you prepared to supplement the cost of these units until rent appreciation results in positive cash flow? 

It can be someone who turned to investing as a stopgap or something they continued to do even after getting another job as supplemental income.

I keep all of my reserves in a savings account earning 5.25%.Another consideration is how much steady W2 income that you have to supplement repairs and maintinence as issues arise.

I would then like to take my cash flow and start investing in SFR's.I have a decent job and am mainly looking to supplement my income.
