This may be more than the sum of the missed mortgage payments - it may also include the accrued interest, penalties and legal fees that the lender wraps up into the amount owed them to bring the mortgage back into good standing.

If there was a Property Management company that set aside an undisclosed amount of money accruing into an account you can see on your profile page on their website (Let's just say $60 a month per property) for the purpose of going into deals with you.

Out of curiosity, how does this deal play out in the event that the note is paid off early, lets say 10 years from now.

I have no real agenda behind my post other than curiosity.

However I think that your post really quenches my curiosity-thirst haha.  

Consider: 1. flying taxi (promised by Uber to be here within 5 years or less). 2. prefabs, containers and other structures delivered by air (in speedy fashion). 3. the distance from A to B via land traffic vs. air. 4. cities growing concern with financial cost of the abandoned land. 5. social mobility and tourism (social curiosity).

I suggest reading books together, see if you can spark her curiosity!
