It's not so simple as for someone with a home bookkeeping service or handmade jewelry online shop, is it?

Need book keeping help for my real estate business!

Hi @Nicole W. so far we have just been very meticulous in our bookkeeping and savings and have a CPA that we love and trust.

Currently, I do all the administration and bookkeeping for our property maintenance business, and I serve as chair and fiduciary to a local non-profit.

However, I also don't mind doing the bookkeeping, taking phone calls, and am not willing to give up 10% of my income to someone who will not treat the property like it's my own.

Washington the duplex is located, but the expected rents seem to be reasonable, but not any higher I would think.Regarding CPAs, what kind of relationship are you looking for - tax questions, bookkeeping, etc.?

Piercing the veil is very costly, and if you create the LLCs correctly and keep good records/bookkeeping this is not much of a problem.

They actually have an excellent partnership agreement which spells out practically everything, ownership, buying in, buying out, marriage/divorce, advances, dissolution, required % for voting to add new members/properties, bookkeeping, etc.

What this looks like from the street:  the lender has got an office in a strip mall setting with small signage out front, there is a front desk receptionist and a book keeper, and that's all the staff I have seen so far. 

A one-stop shop that combines property management w/ honest handyman + bookkeeping & tax preparation service.
