We are climbing out of the "two small kids" haze and starting to enjoy the camping and hiking options in our beautiful part of the country in our spare time.We are accidental landlords with our old home in Cleveland as we bought before the bubble burst and needed to do something with it when the opportunity to relocate to our dream location presented itself and selling it was not an option we were/are willing to consider.  

In my spare time I love hanging out with my family, travelling, I occasionally like to fly small airplanes, and most recently I've been tinkering with home automation (Smartthings).Once my business partner and I have worked out exactly what we want to do (current thinking is buy and hold back in Wisconsin, where we have contacts on the ground and prices are more reasonable), we'll begin to look for opportunities and pull the trigger.  

But ok, if you're not an astute investor, sure, put every spare dollar you have into one deposit!

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising in the gym, running around Atlanta, traveling the world, fishing, watching college football, and snow skiing.

The Issues were it needed an expensive septic system and a well installed and is built where you would need to go outside to get upstairs to the other 2 bedrooms, spare room, and the 2nd full bath.

I may even be able to rent the spare bedroom to a buddy of mine that lives out there.My dilemma is that I put $11K on a Home Depot credit card for my first investment property.

I am currently in college and am looking to complete my real estate licence through OREA (I live in Ontario) as I have some spare time at the moment.  

@Robert Henderson maybe consider house hacking by renting out spare bedrooms.

Any investors familiar with bowling alley investments?

I have two spare bedrooms and I am having a contractor install a door for a separate entrance so that I can lease out one of the bedrooms to a tenant and start my house hack!
