That area was definitely more affordable 5-7 years ago but still not absurdly expensive today compared to the rest of the country.

I have tons of violations and to top it off I'm now getting jacked by HomeRiver. you have what is commonly called a money pit if your looking for suggestions I would sell take your loss's and move on.the issue with Morris is his hypothesis of how D class renters and rental property works is completely a fabrication of his mind.I just watched the HBO documentary on Theranos.. another grifter dreamer .. her theories were false as well.does not matter what yo do .. you cannot over the long haul succeed in those rentals as Morris represented.. he is clueless.

The problem is that you can also find some absurd ones online.

Also, when you verify her references, don't only contact her current landlord (as he/she may be giving a false reference to get her out of their unit).

My state passed a law that says false claims are subject to a $750 fine, so that's what I hit them with.

So it is an absurd criteria, but San Diego city counsel is absurd.  

Currently for my primary residence I have a Ring system which works well and provides the basic surveillance that I'd like to have for rental properties; perimeter motion lights with cameras to record parking lot and back alley activities, "check in" on the grounds to ensure the landscapers are actually showing up, no one has graffitied the fence, determine false alarms on a vacant property, etc.

In this case, we had the right to go back to the seller and hold them responsible for providing false information on the seller disclosure and condition of the property if we had wanted.
