They didn't completely disagree with my vision but didn't fully agree with me dropping out.

I also have the impression that your contract and scope is not strong, saying that he should know it is not enough, all contractors don't have x-ray visions, if we can't see it, we can only give it our best guess but more educated opinion than of your regular joe.

The regional events could be fed by local BiggerPockets clubs as a long-term vision.

At the end of the day, investors have different risk and return appetities, different visions, goals, and objectives they are looking to accomplish and of course different paces / timing at which they want to acheive it in.  

Set aside visions of big and quick profits for a moment and investigate why you're getting such a great deal from this seller.

Neighbors can object in public hearings etc....The guys who can pull this vision off in LA today are likely rewarded to say the least.
