How do i close a deal???

Hello, I am a new investor and I will be investing in land. So lets say i have a buyer who will sell me his property for $1000, What do i do next? I am lost here

1. Get a contract signed

2. Bring it to the title company to open escrow 

3. Bring in Check for EMD with contract

4. Wait till title company has paperwork ready

5. Sign paperwork, deposit remaining funds

Your finished after that, assuming nothing goes funky in the process

Also, if your planning on buying/selling in the future it will pay off to have a good relationship with an Escrow Officer, they are a really good outlet for questions and getting this work done for you
