Looking to house hack a SFH in the Virginia beach area, however I will be leaving on deployment with the next couple months.

@Reagen NathoI have a couple LTRs and also rehabbing in NC so I was just looking to deploy some money in that area without having to manage it myself.

I have about 21 years of service in the Marine Corps (some active duty, some deployments, now part time in the reserves) and I've been working as a police officer in the Los Angeles (West LA area), currently assigned to the Motorcycle unit.

Our goal is always to deploy properly risked capital constantly.

My wife and I worked 2-3 jobs for the better part for a decade living below our means before we start deploying some of what we saved into real estate investing ventures and scaling to where we are now.

Deployments don't count as they're doing their jobs and protecting our freedom.

My son bought a house in September 2022, lived in it, and then was deployed in March 2023.

The issue is I have a deployment coming up that will take me away for about 9 months.
