All of these foundation repairs are temporary.

It might make sense if I am confident that the appreciation will be huge in the not so long term or if the higher rate of leverage is temporary.

Some receive a government check and can't afford and apartment, some have temporary jobs with unstable income, some can't get utilities due to past mistakes or can't pay the deposit, some can't afford to furnish apartments, and some don't want the cost of monthly upkeep of a house ie lawn care.

There might be some immediate help for temporary housing and other grant programs but expect a very long wait and process to rebuild.
