They usually include hardwood floors, basic updated kitchens/baths, newer-white appliances, formica countertops/laminate floors, decent sized closets, etc.

As an Interior Designer, I got a little carried away :-) Refinished kitchen cabinets and replaced laminate counter tops with a high quality, seamless granite installation.

For the most part, we need materials to outfit kitchens & baths - ie: countertops, sinks, cabinets, toilets, faucet etc.

Maybe just refinish the cabinets, and go with a new countertop and updated appliances.

Right now granite is out and quartz or butcherblock is in for countertops. 

Does anyone know of an inexpensive place to purchase quartz countertops in Salt Lake City AND my handyman of over 15 years is moving out of state so I need a reliable handyman for our 4 plex.I hope this is ok to put in this forum? 

Replacing countertops if you paint?

Some alternatives I was thinking about to make her move were not changing the locks, but removing the refrigerator and kitchen sink and countertop (which I own).

@Christopher Kolasa I like prefab quartz or granite for counter tops but sometimes you can get by with formica.

Cosmetic remodel including paint, minor drywall work, flooring, lights, appliances, water heater all new cabinetry, counter tops, fixtures and moldings.
