So when somebody who knows these things stops by, the crap that was sticking to walls being referred to as art is quickly seen as crap on the walls not art.One litmus test to use as a newbie is a sort of cavalier test.

Here is my take for what its worth:City is being well managed with an active strategic plan involving the arts and the "hipster environment" and there are a few encouraging trends within the overall picture specific to Pittsfield.

We have a nationally recognized Community Theatre (where my wife and I sometimes appear onstage), along with a local (private) School For The Performing Arts.

I met my buddy from school who taught me the art of seller financing and began to find deals and buy them up splitting the costs and paying all cash .

I collect Arts and Crafts era items, which includes Craftsman and Mission styles. 

It is big but it’s interesting inside and for me when I am walking in houses like that just as new art - you imagine how would you make this house as for yourself and I want to fix all of them, I am like an hungry artist who wants more all the time and this house was really interesting for me and I’ve imagined different designs.

Or is it a conceptual art project?

I studied art and architectural design and found a love for building after I had an amazing professor in construction management at Laney College in Oakland.
