If you were thinking of oiling a door hinge or putting a new screw in the curtain rod bracket - now's the time.If you have mini-blinds that have pull strings to operate them, take the time to trim the strings such that they don't dangle to the floor, and install a cleat on the wall next to the window so the strings can be wound around the cleat when the blinds are pulled up.

@Luis Barrios one of the podcasts I listen to regularly speaks favorably of Renatus, and I know people who teach for Fortune Builders.In both cases, when I meet with new investors, I usually tell them, the money you spent was probably not bad, but please do not spend any more, and especially don't sign up for anything with a monthly fee (which is like walking around with an open financial wound each month).You can usually get just as much information by networking with other investors and asking good questions of an attorney or accountant, whose answers will be customized to your specific needs and situation.

The broker told him to keep going and he did (possibly because the broker wouldn't get paid unless the deal went through, whereas I was getting paid my legal fees either way).I had him sign off in my files that he was going forward, against my advice.He wound up having to kill the deal later over those very same environmental issues that I had warned him about, as no commercial lender wanted to fund his deal (because of those environmental issues).
