Cellulose would be cheaper and probably the more standard option.We don't see a ton of people use spray foam in Chicago attics typically in basements where you don't have a very thick wall and want to get that high R-value.

So, your pool of potential buyers are much lower.If you are planning to get a condo as an investment, I'd say to keep your margins thick and have a larger "rainy-day" fund than you would with a SFH.

When I went back with a building inspector, I pried the baseboard back from the wall and oh wow it was a thick black shadow of mold, kind of like the Hiroshima shadows on the concrete from the A bomb.
