Some areas in my state have historical societies that are run by power hungry people with nothing better to do than decide you cant paint your own house a certain color, use the windows you want or make any major changes to the exterior. 

It also solves some of the environmental/pollution issues we are trying to solve as a society.  

Businesses, real estate, and options strategies and cashflowing investments are better than a JOB.I don't agree with everything Kyosaki says or does, but I believe  he is contributing to society by provoking thought and challenging misconceptions.  

Costa Rica is a very egalitarian society that hasn't done that well economically and, as a result, it doesn't have a real middle class to speak of and, therefore, you are entirely dependent from international clients, which makes it more risky.

Landlords provide an essential function in society. 

Any lawmaker that thinks forcing landlords to accept this sort of thing is good policy for society needs to be removed and replaced with a sane adult.

In today's litigious society, I want to make it as difficult as possible for an ambulance-chaser to have access to my personal assets.

I'm an engineer, engineering honor society, etc, but I'm all left brain, the right brain is just a big hole.
