@Matt PowersFrom my experience, deciding between short-term rentals (STRs) and long-term rentals (LTRs) depends on the market.

I'm currently listed for short term rentals and am starting to get a few bookings into April and May...would hate to cancel BUT would take MTR as preference.

Once Apartments.com is going the money comes without much thought. i check on the first to see that the transaction has initiated then again on the eighth to see that the money deposited.

I'm running out of bandwidth to be able to self-manage, especially on the leasing side.

Big old money here for sure.

I also require additional security deposit and sometimes a guarantor if they were approved in this manner.I also agree that this situation sounds like a pattern not a one-time mistake or short term tough situation that caused this.  

With companies pouring money into EV and semiconductor production, job growth is picking up, which will only increase demand for housing in the long run.

But that honestly looks like it is all set up to try and be a banking solution (ie, get as many users keeping money in BaseLane's bank accounts so they can make that sweet sweet float on the interest.

If you are, you likely aren't running into claims brought against you.
