When you rip out the plaster, those studs probably aren't designed for drywall so it could be a lot of work with shims and lining it up.

Hi Jason Yahner .The AskBP segment has finished up - we did 100 episodes but started getting the same questions repeated...To start a conversation in a local forum, click Start a Discussion (Green button) in the navigation bar at the top of the page.When it asks you to select a forum, scroll down (a really long way) to the alphabetical list of states, choose Texas and then you will be given an option sub-forum to choose from beneath that main Texas Forum.

We’re in upstate NY where the pipes in crawlspaces may freeze.(2) I will move the water heater (which, ironically is for the upstairs unit) from the mud room to the basement area beneath the upstairs unit (but accessed through this unit).
