On stairs: hardwood steps with off the roll runner from Lowes overtop.

I am a bit of a car nut so the stable is full right now: 1992 Chevrolet K2500 single cab long bed 6.5 Turbo diesel pickup automatic - 363,000 miles and serves as my Home Depot runner, plow truck and tows anything I can throw at it.

For those of you with duplexes/triplexes/fourplexes and those always sad back stairs that are in bad shape and would be a lot of work to replace/refinish (this also applies to creepy basement stairs)  I like to paint a runner on them.

After laying down the new carpet put a protective carpet runner in the rooms and over the stairs as it is a cheap way to let the buyers know and feel that the carpet is new and gives the home that same  updated feel.

The stock will cost in excess of about 70-100k and I'll have 20 maintenance guys to keep track of.Another avenue I'm considering is a full time runner.

Again, you have to remember that in most of these scenarios for a property to make it back to the market then it must mean that not only didn't the deal pan out but the runners up were also unsuccessful.

really don't know. but it will have some impact on resturants and other venues during game times.. as I would think less folks come to the games.. remember we sports fans are front runners or band wagon or what ever if the team is no good people don't come and that leads to a ripple effect..
