I put a lot of money into my property to make them nice. 

It would be nice if you gave them more than that, because it takes a lot of effort to move a business (online marketing, business cards, etc.).

Plus, having a fully paid-off property could be a nice safety net if the STR market takes a hit or occupancy slows down.On the flip side, if you’re eager to grow, saving for another property could be the better play.

I'm wondering if I should build out the house to sold comps valuation (bigger more expensive house chasing equity valuation) ORShould I build just enough of a nice mountain cottage for best cashflow.

Outside of the obvious stuff like big house and nice expensive cars, money affords you the ability to wake up to the sunrise as opposed to an alarm clock.

I just like to list places and keep them posted so I get a chance to talk to nice new people, like you.

New construction, townhome style or even small simple house style - coupled with nice neighborhood amenities, and in a good school zone 

I will take that over 200.00 a month positive cash flow :)  All the while running my Capital Partner business and funding over 120 deals a year for my hand picked clients. lThat's a nice combination.

For example, an ADU is nice for a rental, but not every home buyer wants to pay a premium for an ADU on their property.This would be case by case and property dependent.
