No way of knowing if it runs and the junkyard will give me approx $300 for it - which doesn't equal to the amount required for me to store/auction after 30 days under FL statue.

The bigger risk is to the seller .. now WA is a purchase money owner occ state.. that means a loan used as purchase money to buy a owner occ home . there can BE NO deficiency judgement by statue..

If so might be easier to tear the whole tile floor back out and start over with the thought of finished height in mind.Check to see if their is a taller marble OR maybe a two step transition made of wood.
