I have been at the SFH since Feb - so going on 9 months and even if I find a new home, by the time I close and go thru the process to move into in MI it would be like Dec or January at the earliest.Thank you and all help would be greatly appreciated!

We were thinking the following:  1) we know these potential tenants have a paying job, 2) no commute for the tenants which would be appealing 3) most are men who are working and sending money home to their families so a dated decor is not a big deal and they just need a place to crash 4) renting these guys enables us to get income immediately vs spending money updating the property.

Hi Alex,Good Job on the Flip.And you're a talented decorator too...A couple of (3) questions (if you know):[1] Who was your buyer; an investor or someone who will live in the home.[2] If someone who will live in the home what's the aprox. age(s) and job(s) of the couple--(if a couple).[3] I like the shower, it's nice looking, is it a steam room too?

Last , if you get to the point of owning something you decorate the same way you would decorate your house . short-term rentals are not like long-term rentals when someone comes into your cabin they want to know they're in the Catskills so you'll decorate it nicely then the photographs will pop!
