Not sure why'd you'd cross contaminate (for lack of a better phrase) between owner (equity) and GC and make milestones and waterfalls and generally make everything more complicated?

I'm in Minnesota right now when I get home I'll post some names Of guys I won't use again.For Granite - Heartland Granite - Owner Yoshen Maa (I may have mispelled his name but believe he's from Japan) - good dude - he had a Hispanic crew install the granite in 1 of my houses, not sure if they did the 2nd house as I wasnt there - was happy with it - they only pissed me off when they did my personal house - had my Ram air Transam with only 68k miles out of the garage so they could work and the dip***** were throwing granite dust all over it by cutting the granite right beside my car - My paint needed to have claybar used on it anyways to remove contaminants but regardless of what car was there they should have set up and cut somewhere else or given me the opportunity to park down the street.  

The most expensive removals are buried oil tanks with soil contamination.

Account Closed yes gas stations have underground tanks that if left abandoned for long enough can leak and contaminate the ground which gets expensive fast.

It can be more depending on the soil type and extent of the contamination but that is an average clean up cost.

at some point, maybe getting an attorney to knock on the HOA's door may bring enough attention to them to act, and your home value is at risk of decreasing with the meth contamination next door.also, consider buying them out! 

Hey Folks,Looking at an otherwise solid REO buy (for flip) on what appears to be a corner lot- come to find out the yard "on the corner" is a parcel owned by the next door neighbor and is "possibly contaminated"... former laundry mat burned down there some 15-20 years ago and between back taxes and possible contamination, it hasn't been touched.

Could be potential contamination but an Enviro inspection can take care of that.
