I disagree with this.. its explicitly written to keep those that are not licensed from selling property under the guise of selling a contract.. but we will see there will be litigation and fines etc and case law will be laid down.. but it wont stop it.. too many folks could care less about these laws and will just do it until they are shut down etc.

The FTC for sure is goes after these Mentor guru's that promise big returns if you just buy my course.. and takes a while but then what happened to the folks you mention and Tarik and his wife and many others they just get shut down and start over in some other capacity.

They shut it down and merged it over to Credit Karma, and it sucks. 

Honestly with a tenant who is old or disabled they could bust have shut off or lost the phone.

Sure they can make it work but the problem with dealing with a boutique business is that often times if the owner is sick, going on vacation, going through a divorce, not licensed or their kid's sick the business shuts down and so does your offer.

I try and stay ahead of the game on PMs I change air filters and get furnace serviced I replace shut off valves and add them where needed.

Oh, I didn't say shut down the MLS, just shutdown the free public data feed.

We've had a lot more success with good old fashioned cold calling, response rates are lower (5-10% nationally) but you don't have your accounts being shut down every day.

So training is generic and of course no one points out that you should check your state for the actual Laws of what I am teaching its legal in some states though :) Most of the trainers that were promising students to make 40k a month flipping houses did get shut down by the ftc.. think Montalongo Vertucci WE now see new posts about how you can make 1 mil a year flipping @Chris Seveney Chris just posted a screen shot of that advertisement and who is hawking that program. 

state license ect. .. and your correct the bigger private guys in this state pretty much uniformly  got cease and desists the state went looking found them shut them down.
