Got absolutely wiped out in 08 to 2010 and had to start over basically.

My understanding is that any HOA liens should be wiped out. 

People on these mortgages had their payments go up automatically with every interest rate increase and saw cashflow completely wiped out.

If you're the type of person that has to ask this question, then just put your money in the market and wipe your hands and be done with it.

STR laws in NYC are very strict and the city wants all STRs wiped out so that hotels can profit, all bc of some tax issue.
