The other big driver is going to be the cost of energy and transportation, that impacts a wide range of goods and services.I am very concerned about Europe - they heaviliy depend on Russian gas to run their indurstry and heat their homes.

With that refinanced money I would be very careful investing in anything right now even before the Russian/Ukrainian conflict the economy was in bad shape. 

These areas are also coastal (hence the desirability) and run by liberals (hence the high taxes).....I am all for low taxes - the lowest necessary to maintain a good standard of living for those that work and care.....But I don't get the Russian v Ukraine correlation thang.....
