What will you do when your first disaster/crisis happens?

Even after Sandy and the 2007/8 crisis demand for beach front rentals remained fairly strong. 

Global Financial Crisis?

The deal is when you purchase something valuable for you but it is considered worthless by the seller (and in general by the local market).I spent few years in the US during the Real Estate crisis.

I would not be surprised if it continues to climb for a couple more years then settled down to 2013/2014 levels.The rental market has always been very stable here, even through the housing crisis so I feel that if I buy an investment property now, even if the price is inflated, the rental income will be a good hedge against the coming correction.Now I'm certainly no RE pro, far from it, so these are just my observations based on living here for 30+ years, so take it with a grain of salt.

@Ryan Mullin sold the house for me and also handled the crisis when we got robbed while under contract.

I am currently involved in a charity out here in Denver that helps those in financial crisis.  

Passive income, peace of mind, comfort during the Crisis, freedom to travel, strength to start a small business at the expense of a big income, the spirit to choose our own path rather than follow the herd, and more.

Maybe because I grew up in Michigan in the 70s when wood stoves were making a comeback during that energy crisis.  

People who are truly experiencing a hardship due to this crisis should absolutely take advantage of it to save their homes and their finances.
