It's quite a gamble.

I want to travel when I want, see the world, have time to develop authentic and caring relationships, spend as much time as I want with family and friends, and focus on becoming a better version of myself everyday.

It also makes a HUGE assumption that you can access this gained equity through refi at the same rate as when you started the loan (highly unlikely and as I stated, math is math and statistics are statistics so why gamble on an unknown factor!).

Not worth it to me to gamble in the winter only for it to come out poor because the weather didn't cooperate.

You are gambling in an arena with a hefty anti.

Maybe see if they have a two- or three-month trial period and take the gamble. 

Authentic skipping comes at a price, so it does not lend itself well to activities like cold calling. 

It is a risk, a gamble, but it might pay out. 

Not unless you truly enjoy gambling.
