If public notice is given, it will be published in a newspaper with a name like "Daily Business Review/Journal", or something like that.Basically you go to the courthouse (maybe every day, or a few times a week), and search the files for the latest foreclosure filings.The staff can help you search by case type.Best of luck.

Account Closed tax sale properties and its tax deeds NOT tax liens in CA by law must be published in the legal section of the paper in the county were the property is.. so its as easy as buying the newspaper.. in big counties like Sac that will generally be the legal publication.. if you don't know what that is ask around.
