How do you overcome this?  

I've had to try to overcome my own prejudices over the years having grown up in an all white suburb of Detroit in the 60's.

I'm an introvert and this was a way to challenge myself to overcome some of my fears.

My fiancee is actually from the US (dallas) so I figured that it should assist me in overcoming any foreign ownership issues.

They make a studio apartment look like a castle.The other obstacles to overcome are sanitation, zoning and the inevitable complaints from neighbors about dragging down property values.The solution to the neighbor issue ,I think, is to situate the development far away from the others, but that would isolate the people I'd be trying to help.Bottom line - I don't think it's a viable solution here. 

The only down side is non financial since conventional loans have to be funded in your living trust or personal name only (no LLC's, LP's, etc) and has strict guidelines to adhere to.The pro's can over come the con's as long as the planning is set out ahead of time on your overall strategy.Let me know I can help address any questions.

Then you're relying on the interior to overcome their negative impression of the place to begin with.

At your age those people are generally seeking you out through promoting school events etc.Right now you can't legally agree to a contract. you think of that as an obstacle now, but regardless of how you feel about it, you can't overcome it by anything other than time.

I think demand for these locations will overcome market fluctuation in the long run.In Lynn stay away from the Lynn commons in the center of the city.
