i do see the logic in that, but assuming tenants will pay down a mortgage is a pretty big assumption, especially considering the new environment were in. paying it down sooner minimizes the window of time that a risk of vacancy could ruin it. think about it, what if the cdc extends the moratorium to June 2021?

He inherited the property when his parents passed, come to find out the house was copper mined, basement COMPLETELY flooded(up to the floor joist - which are apparently ruined) and from what he's saying the house needs to be torn down.There are about $50k in back taxes owed and he has until the 15th to pay $4,400 cash to the county.

The month before that was for a general inspection of the unit by the main property management company however I saw them inspecting other units so I cant say I was being singled out.My issue with her started when maintenance came in to fix my bathroom sink but did not fix it properly and it ended up leaking water onto all my belongings and ruining them (on Christmas morning no less).

If it's just carpet,paint, appliances, light fixtures etc. you could be buying a money pit.Even if everything was replaced a bad roof could ruin everything underneath it so a new roof or a repair if needed is usually the FIRST thing a turnkey provider should fix as everything else rehabbed underneath it from then on could be ruined.You need to get a full inspection of the whole property.
