I have had a handful of lenders contact me by phone after the transaction to actually confirm that we are the new owners and make sure we know where to send the payments along with updated payment amounts.Subject to investing is not for everyone and I have learned to use it effectively as one of the tools in my bag.

GL will try and find any loophole they can to not actually pay out on a claim (e.g. owner's negligence); leaving you holding the bag.

So after calling 15+ contractors, over half not showing up to even give me a quote, the half that did show up only 2 gave me quotes, the one I hired ended up being a **** bag and I let him go.I got so sick of trying to throw my money at someone to do this that I spent $700, bought all the tools I needed, and did the work myself.

Especially if the fire/murder was reported on the news, one google search could let the cat out of the bag and you could lose numerous amounts of potential buyers.
