I think the reason some labdlords are against it because, Landlords got in while the getting was good with HUD and did not do the proper checks and balances and due diligence on applicants because they were excited about the guaranteed monthly income and in turn they rented to undesirable applicants and were left holding the bag on repairs, ect.

Rents stay put, mortgages get paid, your net worth hovers a bit, then the market comes back and you couldn't even tell the difference.Just don't be the idiot holding the bag with the most expensive speculator house on the most expensive speculator hood in the most expensive speculator city. 

Why take the chance in an area that could clamp down and leave you holding the bag?

They’re okay just gliding through life, mooching, scraping up enough money for the next bag of weed and calling it a day.

But to Joe’s point - the bigger your box, the more tools you have in your tool bag, and the more opportunities you’ll find where they are needed to do the job.

I wonder if there has to be a surveyed demarcation on the contract or if a lawyer can draw something up that says "half of the existing lot" or something similar and then you get a new property line surveyed.I don't want to get left holding the bag on surveyor fees if the current landowner changes his mind before a contract is in place.
