You need to be part of a broker dealer to even qualify to take the exam so I would say the answer is no unless you work in the industry.

It is way easier to manage B & C properties where I haven't had any overdose deaths, or drug dealers, or the residents of the local "D" area tent city rummaging through our dumpster (and before that steal our rolling cans) leaving all the trash on the ground, and we get a much more stable applicant pool.

if they are fix and flips how are you getting around being labeled a dealer by the IRS and paying 35% forever in taxes...you do know once labeled it does not go away even when you get out of business?
