Cast iron will dry out if not keep wet causing cracks.

LOTS of problems with that vintage year.Likely have galvanized water main and plumbing, cast iron sewer, wonky electrical, asbestos, lead based paint and on and on.Most of my clients are buying in warmer client states.

I like to use things that are unusual; like built in ironing boards, a cabinet over the washer and dryer, recessed lighting, tile back splashes, ETC.

Are the walls plaster lathe, sheetrock, are waste lines cast iron, PVC, do you have toilets with tanks or flushometers?
