It may not be as big a spam as it looks in the picture though. 

Investors who have a longer time horizon, a higher appetite for risk and are ready to take a gamble.

For Jon, it means that he doesn't have to be on 24 hour/day patrol for spam (you have no idea how much spam is removed from this site that we're all lucky enough never to have to see) and when he is on the site, he can be contributing in better ways than just removing spam (i.e., actually giving out great real estate advice).Again, I don't mean to speak for Josh or Jon, but this is my interpretation...

@Ross BowmanI see absolutely 0 of that junk.Mainly because I report it as spam as soon I see it 😆I don’t much care for the grant cardone and the rest of the cronies.

People doing everything from knocking on doors, to phone and text spam, outlaw signs, magnetic signs on vehicle, billboards, direct mail, direct email, purchasing lists, phone banks, SEO, SEM, PR marketing, advertising on TV and radio, sponsoring events, holding webinars, seminars, meetups, real estate investment clubs, bird dogging, on and on.  

We had a tenant who was running an illegal sports gambling ring, who got busted by the feds.

Anyone buying in this saturated market is doing just that, gambling. 

I'm okay gambling that the FED will reduce rates in the next 2-3 years and then get cashflow post-refi, but want to at least break even until then. 

I am just not a gambling kind of guy and I like to see success connected to how much work I put into something (physically and even better, mentally)Are we just taught that investing in stocks/401K/Roth Ira and similar investments are the way to go and should be part of everyone's portfolio, but maybe for true real estate investors its not needed ?

Procter and Gamble used the same personality test, I think.
