@Jay Hinrichs@James WiseJay, we all have lives outside of BP so I haven't yet heard from James with the information I requested from him regarding his belief that subject to somehow how falls under the category of fraud. 

My belief is if he had that kind of money, why not pay the mortgage.

We could get into my personal beliefs on the circumstances that creates the hood but I would probably get kicked off this site, lol, and it is different from the point I was trying to make in regards to RE investing.  

I manage several "Vacation" properties in Minneapolis and am making about 50% more than what I would if I rented to long term tenants and my belief is that this is on the lower end.  

I also STRONGLY recommend that you start attending your local REI meetings religiously!

The condo association has very strong reserves and recently redid the roofs - but both of your comments support my initial belief that the cash flow is way to small.

The dude is like 70 and I'm sure just has some really solidified beliefs about money and the world.
