Wholesaling, how to get started in RE? Is this market saturated?

Hey, I’m new to RE. I attended a 3 day seminar that got me excited about getting started, but I don’t know where to begin. I’ve asked a few people that are in the industry and all have mentioned Wholesaling as a way to enter in. Is this true? If so, what advice and knowledge do y’all have? What should I do? I’m all about building relationships, but if I’m building relationships that don’t translate to dollars, time is wasted. How did you find mentors?
