East Colfax is really coming up nicely, and if you want to live super close to the urban core at still affordable prices your options are pretty much NE Denver (I also buy there) and that area to the southeast, including Sloans Lake and Villa Park. 

Oakland is set up so that there’s a strip running more or less straight north and south, and then a long strip running southeast along the Bay.

Other areas where I found homes that match my specifications far South East Aurora and some areas fairly far North of Denver Metro were not much better for drive distance or convenience factor.

I have never listed, but I have used them when traveling to Europe and Asia..

We make sure they buy in a way that the property will cash flow should they have to relo suddenly or in the case of once recent buyer take 1/2 time pay and spend six months in Southeast Asia traveling.
