Amazon just opened a location and recently announced plans to expand already and our old GE plant is being purchased and renovated.

I am trying to find my next gig after the plant I worked at recently shut down. 

Different places offer different opportunities, so it's important to decide where you want to plant your real estate seeds.Imagine you're looking at a map, and you see all the cities and towns.

This might be a good opportunity to begin planting seeds in LV for investment purposes.

These areas are becoming extremely attractive to investors, due to the shortage of affordable housing and the strong demand caused by the blue-collar workforce employed by the area's factories and plants.  

Washington Court House Ohio is an area I expect to grow as well because Honda is building a multi-billion dollar battery plant there. 

Hindsight is of course 20/20 and I regret all of those excuses, but the second best time to plant a tree is now, so I'm pulling the trigger, market timing, shmarket timing.I'm in the process of selling some inherited hunting property to a family friend to fund down payments on my first few rental property investments, perhaps looking to 1031 if possible for tax savings.

@James Masotti Although I agree with you 100%, I wonder why the City of Wilmington doesn't consider bringing in individuals for those roles that require a college degree, or initiate a program to allow for the proper training for such roles within a legal or banking firm.One thing I would be glad when they figure out is the plan for the old GM Boxwood plant.

I did a lot of this for bean farmers, the loans were used to finance plantings and operations.
