I live near New Town and I can get down to Carondelet Park in 40 minutes from my house and I work in Clayton anyway so it's not bad.

I agree with @Eric Clayton that there should be a way to walk out.

Hi Michelle.Im looking at using my 401k now.The way it's working for me is that if I plan on living in the house as my primary I can take out a 30 year loan otherwise I have to take out a 5 year loan.My credit union does the transaction and I pay 3% interest back to myself and 4% to the credit union.I am in the process to see if there's any other way to get it without paying 4% to the credit union since it's not even their money  and all they're doing is the transaction so if anyone has more info I'd be interested.I agree with Ola to watch the podcast with Natali Morris,it was great.My intent is to take out the money and buy a house cash and then pull out the equity and pay off the 401 and repeat so interest won't be a great issue since it'd be short term but I'm still researching.Im a newbie so I'd appreciate any advice.Thanks.Hope this helps.Great last name by the way.Lol.Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

It's those maniacs that buy homes cash via quit claim deed off of craigslist that really get screwed.Make sure your property manager is a licensed real estate brokerage.Google Clayton Morris scam and/or Morris Invest scam for a cautionary tale of what not to do when buying turnkey real estateUnderstand you can not eliminate all risk, only mitigate it.
