No problem :)  I'm not saying you should get desperate and just start jettisoning everything overboard ala the Titanic, but you need to consider everything in the grand scheme of things.

They were paying people investment returns using our principal which is definition of Ponzi scheme.

Keep the business and accounting simple until you see if this is going to work for you and you need some sort of elaborate scheme to hide your money.

The home nspection is a very small cost in the grand scheme of things so I suggest you do not skip that step.
