If you hear a common theme for several property managers then those are likely the ones you want to interview.

:-) We don’t mind the extra time that it takes to make sure that renters don’t intend to have their wedding ceremony and reception at the house!  

We're getting married in December so waiting until AFTER the wedding to begin the rehab work on this new one (currently a tenant is occupying the unit so we'll be collecting cashflow in the meantime).

I want to eventually start an alternative/DIY homes contracting business where we build upscale container homes, geodesic domes, tiny homes, convert trailers into themed hotel rooms etc so seeking for some solid advice in that realm.

I would recommend looking through Craigslist and Zillow/Trulia/HotPad for small-multi rentals and see what is the common theme throughout the listings.
