I think you're right I need to do some soul searching and come up with a plan.

In terms of health care expenses, I find a lot of people stay in soul sucking jobs without exploring what it would actually cost to buy their own coverage.

But,  if you're adventurous soul decides to make a purchase, here are some additional thoughts. 1. 

It would be soul crushing to me to lose friend's or family's money and even if I didn't it can negatively impact all future interactions.Plus it gets so complicated to figure out who owns how much. 

To put it in the words of the appraiser, this project "[was] going to try a man's soul." 

That has to come from your heart after you've done a deep soul search to determine what it is you want out of all of this.

Most importantly I value my family over anything and want to make the most of my youth years than giving 40 hours  a week to some company until I am washed up and they replace me with another youthful productive soul. 

It really is/was a way for those with a pretty good amount of money to put a small amount of that large pot to work in something that if it worked, great, but if not OK they lost some of their principal but when you are worth 10+ figures already it's not soul-crushing.

Building an empire takes time some people sell their soul (credit/assests) to the devil to keep getting deals, even with bad cash flow. 

I'm an old soul who got the pleasure of being raised by her grandmother, I have never seen a harder working woman than her!
